Shine Cafe - Victoria

My spouse and I decided to try out Shine during the week, as it tends to be very busy on weekends (like most brunch spots). We were seated promptly, even though the restaurant quickly filled up. The service was outstanding - our water and coffee were refilled promptly, and the staff checked in on how we were enjoying our meal. While not a fancy establishment, the restaurant was clean and cozy. I ordered the Reuben Benny special, which was incredibly tasty. My wife opted for a breakfast plate, and particularly enjoyed the rosemary-infused potatoes. Overall, I would highly recommend Shine.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Whenever I'm in Victoria, I always make sure to stop by here. Today, I tried the Southern Belle Benny and although it may look a bit unusual in the picture, I can assure you it is one of the best eggs benedict dishes I have ever tasted. The flavors of all the ingredients combined perfectly and there is a great variety of flavors. The only regret I have is that I ordered the half portion instead of the full one.

We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant. It was my first time visiting, as my husband had last been here 10 years ago. It's a charming breakfast spot with tasty food. I ordered the chorizo hash with a side of soup. The flavors were fantastic, the portion was very satisfying, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Huge portions! This place is friendly to vegetarians: there’s lots of veggie options on the menu, plus you can replace meat with avocado for non-veggie meals.

Great brunch spot in Victoria. Quality food with okay service. Fair price.
