Contribute FeedbackDespite excellent food, this Thai restaurant has faced criticism for poor service, long wait times, small portion sizes, and unapologetic staff. Many have been disappointed by the overall experience, particularly with high prices compared to local competitors. However, some diners have enjoyed delicious meals and friendly service, with specific highlights on the flavors of the dishes. While the restaurant shows potential, it seems to struggle with consistency in providing a satisfying dining experience.
A very friendly and authentic feeling Thai experience with a wide variety of good food. Away from the madding crowd.
We were invited to dinner at the Thai Lemongrass. We had not visited this restaurant before. The food was so good. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine.
Thai Lemongrass is a family favourite. The food never disappoints. This lively restaurant is always a go to for a Birthday dinner or any other special occasion. The food and service is impressive. Being a big Thai food fan, we have tried Baan Thai, Sookjai Thai, Siam Thai etc, Little Thai place etcThai Lemongrass really sets the bar high. After you have eaten here, no other Thai food will compare...just sayin'
Lovely décor, intimate atmosphere, excellent service and a varied menu. The spring rolls are light, crispy and delicious! The main courses came out fresh and piping hot. Every mouthful delivered complex flavours, each one hitting the taste buds as a separate layer of tasty goodness, then blending into flavour harmony. Coconut or plain steamed rice is ordered separately. As I walked through the restaurant, I watched other diners' meals and could only think, "I want to come back tomorrow and try that... and that... and that."
Enjoyed the chicken pad thai with a green tea. Well-sized portions for a good cost. Very nice atmosphere. Would recommend if looking for a meal near UVic campus.
