Zaxby's - Troy
Zaxby's
Description
In the heart of Troy, Alabama, a local restaurant offers a mixed experience for diners. While the food, particularly the chicken tenders and vegetarian options, enjoys a favorable reputation, service inconsistencies overshadow the dining experience. Patrons have reported slow drive-thru times and issues with online orders, leading to frustrating waits and unfulfilled expectations. Complaints about a disorganized staff and unpleasant parking conditions exacerbate the challenges. Though management has made efforts to address concerns, the need for improved staffing and service reliability remains evident. Overall, while there's potential for a solid fast-food option, a few key improvements are needed.

I asked for tongue torch sauce on my chicken fingers and they were so dry. I always check my bag but I had a big order so I didn't but it was ok. 7/10 for
I was let go from my job because I went with my girlfriend to welcome our newborn daughter. I had informed them about this during my interview and had communicated my plans for several weeks leading up to the birth. Now they are claiming that I was a no-call, no-show. They knew exactly where I was, as I had been granted permission to leave work to be with my family. How is this situation acceptable? They removed me from the schedule the very next day.
A very consistent place to eat in Troy AL, thier chicken tenders are very good and thier service has been acceptable. Overall a pretty good fast food choice.. I would also like to add that Zaxby's at one point thier drive through was messed up but it had since been fixed.
My husband and I have visited this location twice recently (8/27/23 and 9/17/23). Both times we ordered online. August 27, we ordered online only to arrive and find that the restaurant had closed early due to staffing shortages. We overlooked this, though, because we received a full refund and a coupon from the main corporate office. Tonight, however, was a different story. I placed an order at 6:56 pm and received a message saying that the food would be ready at 7:08 pm. My husband arrived to pick up the food at this time to find that the dining room where online orders are typically picked up was closed. He got in the drive thru and told the employees that we had an online order only to be asked to go park and wait for our food. He waited in the parking lot for another 45 minutes before giving up and leaving. I rarely leave reviews and understand that staffing is difficult these days, but there was no attempt to remedy the situation or an acknowledgment/update that they were still working on the order after 45 minutes of waiting. Just disappointing as we did not receive our food or even the offer of a refund.UPDATE: I received an email from the store manager on 9/18/23. We received a full refund for our order.
