Costa Coffee is one of my preferred coffee chains. This one hit the spot for decor, service, coffee etc. The chipotle chicken toasted sandwich was a hit.
Really great Costa, super happy friendly welcome form the staff. Staff member Avess really great and very helpful Good atmosphere and brilliant range of cakes and snacks Clean tidy and good location
A Costa is not just a Costa, this one stands out with an industrial and funky feel. It has three levels, with a mix of benches, comfortable sofas, and tables of various sizes. There are also plugs available for laptops and phone chargers. The service was good with a friendly staff member who had some green hair, giving the place a very alternative vibe. My friend had a Toasted teacake, which was everything you would expect it to be and more.
Its great here, in the sunshine on a table outside. Staff are friendly, Hot choccie is always good and a naughty chocolate tiffin. Better than the tunbridge wells industrial estate one, a lot more friendly, although i didn't bother with a croissant after the stale one i had in tun wells
During our visit to the coffee shop on Commercial Street, Shoreditch, East London this afternoon, we encountered a very rude lady barista who claimed to be the manager. However, when we checked with another local Costa, we found out that the manager was actually a man. We were shouted at and talked over by this disrespectful representative of Costa before I could even finish my first question. The issue arose when I tried to ask if the toilet required a code for entry as my 2-year-old baby needed his nappy changed. I was told to use a public toilet and was scolded for expecting to use their facilities, even though I mentioned that my wife and baby were next in line to order drinks. If you are having difficulty training your staff in basic customer service and communication, I can provide you with information on available courses that could help improve their behavior. This incident ruined a rare family outing for us. We are regular Costa customers, but this experience has made us reconsider our loyalty.
