Ideal location by Spitalfields Market. Nice layout to relax. Staff very efficient, cleanliness orientated friendly.
During our visit to the coffee shop on Commercial Street, Shoreditch, East London this afternoon, we encountered a very rude lady barista who claimed to be the manager. However, when we checked with another local Costa, we found out that the manager was actually a man. We were shouted at and talked over by this disrespectful representative of Costa before I could even finish my first question. The issue arose when I tried to ask if the toilet required a code for entry as my 2-year-old baby needed his nappy changed. I was told to use a public toilet and was scolded for expecting to use their facilities, even though I mentioned that my wife and baby were next in line to order drinks. If you are having difficulty training your staff in basic customer service and communication, I can provide you with information on available courses that could help improve their behavior. This incident ruined a rare family outing for us. We are regular Costa customers, but this experience has made us reconsider our loyalty.
I went to this restaurant for breakfast last week while staying in Brick Lane. It has a lovely Costa layout and they offer regular juice, unlike Starbucks. I ordered a toastie and two sausage rolls, which were served with either ketchup or brown sauce. These rolls are the best I've ever had and taste delicious, much better than Starbucks. I highly recommend them. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and the staff are polite and friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Costa Coffee is one of my preferred coffee chains. This one hit the spot for decor, service, coffee etc. The chipotle chicken toasted sandwich was a hit.

I was served by Achilleas today and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and I wish him all the best in his new job! My coffee was just perfect!
This is a wonderful place to immerse yourself. The atmosphere is calm, and the service team is excellent.
I love the situation. I had to wait for my man coming from the shoreditch underground station. it was easy for him to find me there, so we continue to the Spitalfields market. I only had a tee so I can't get to the coffee. it was not busy, I could find a place in a cool day. the staff was friendly enough. I needed a quiet place to wait and that's what I have.
Great meeting point near Aldgate/Aldgate east station. also open them sat and sun. just take the coffee and collect it and go;
I really love this Costa Coffee branch because it’s always a great spot to meet up with friends. The service is consistently top-notch, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic. The sandwiches are always delicious, and the cakes are quite nice as well. However, the restroom is often busy since it's used by people from the street. This means customers have to wait, and unfortunately, the restroom is not very clean as a result.
