Picnic Taco has excellent tacos, and I loved the fried plantains. The outdoor seating area is also very nice and dog friendly. They both suggested Picnic Tacos, and i... read more After a day on the slopes, I was craving a quick, satisfying meal and asked the staff at Timberline for recommendations. They both suggested Picnic Tacos, and it did not let me down. I ordered the two-taco plate, which came with rice, beans, and some plantains. Both tacos were tasty, but I preferred the chicken over the pork. Maybe I'll give the ground beef a try next time!

The menu is straightforward, focusing on fresh ingredients, but most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious! This is one of the best Mexican dining experiences I've ever had, demonstrating that you don’t need to be extravagant to be exceptional. I would happily drive three hours just to eat here again. My taste buds and stomach are disappointed that Picnic isn't in our city. Plus, everything on the menu is celiac-friendly! Dietary restrictions: Celiac-Friendly, Gluten-Free.
