Despite some minor negatives such as overpriced dishes, the overall dining experience at The Ternary is memorable and impressive. This restaurant is a decent walk from the nearest town hall and a small further budding Darling Harbor. The view is beautiful, overlooking the skyline of Darling Harbor, which is nice at night. The ambience of the restaurant itself is spacious and crisp. It is quiet enough to allow you to have a decent conversation, but still look pretty. The wine and cocktail list has many great opportunities and the food is divine. The Asian bar and barbecue is a unique concept, but meals are brilliantly deducted.
Eat incredible. can recommend salt and pepper scattering, beef talloin and eton mess! on Saturday you can see the fireworks at 9 o'clock. great selection of drinks we had a table well booked in advance and the personal confirmed our booking an hour before the arrival. extremely disappointed when the couple before us who had no booking was assigned a window seat, and when we were asked for one, we were told that no window seats were left! why not the window tables for those who have booked. it let us see disappointed that people who were not booked were better assigned to tables. we were moved to a “better” table where one of us had to sit with the back to the window. I know of friends who own restaurants that this is not the done. I have also eaten my meal without my knife and fork together and the waitress asked if we were done, began to clear away plates that made us feel, hastened. if they pay $50-60 for a pornstar they don't want to feel hastily. I would come back and try just because eating was so good, but if we got the same service, we wouldn't return.
The food was absolutely delicious we tried most of the menu over three nights to dinner and I can not mistake any of the dishes. so much taste in all that we tasted, and the portions were considerable. the bark ribs were amazing. the meat fell from the bone and the chicken noodle dish was amazing and the butter chicken with the steamed rice was faultless. will be back,on my next visit to sydney. I only wish that the hotels in noosa offered the same delicious foods.
I want to express my gratitude to the fantastic chefs and staff for the amazing dinner. We enjoyed salt and pepper calamari, Balmain bugs, and tandoori chicken, all of which were outstanding! Breakfast was delightful as well, with the scrambled eggs being especially noteworthy.
The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, and the blend of spices was outstanding. We decided to order several items to share in order to experience the different flavors, and we were thoroughly pleased with our choices. Each dish was beautifully presented and of high quality. As someone with dairy intolerance, I was thrilled to find such a diverse selection of delicious options. The service was friendly, attentive, and timely. I’ve already made another reservation to return!
