What Krisstal S doesn't like about Indigo Indian Bistro:
I don't mind paying top dollar if the food is worth it and I've lived in NYC and DC in the 2020's and am well traveled. The food at Indigo in Shreveport is not only OVERPRICED but also NOT very good. They cannot produce an itemized receipt and when I demanded they produce one, it was off by $3. They could not explain the charge total discrepancy. This is an easy way to SCAM customers. Although my father owns a restaurant, this is my favorite place in town. The owner, Guru, treats me like family. The food is exceptional. I even had one of my bridal showers here and Guru and his staff went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. He knows my preferences so well that as soon as I sit down, my mango martini is already on its way to the table. That kind of service is unbeatable. View all feedback.

Indigo in Shreveport has garnered mixed reviews, striking a chord with some diners while leaving others disappointed. While many praise the vibrant flavors and diverse menu, particularly the chicken tikka masala and tandoori items, critics highlight issues such as overpriced dishes, bland food, and inconsistent service. Diners value the personal touches from the owner, Guru, often feeling welcomed like family. However, others lament the lack of dessert and an itemized receipt, raising concerns about pricing transparency. Overall, Indigo offers a unique experience, but potential patrons may want to consider their expectations regarding value and service before dining.
This is easily one of our favorite restaurants in Shreveport! Bhatia has great food and service! If you haven’t been to Indigo, you’re missing out!
