Silversmiths, founded in 2009 after a visit from Gordon Ramsay, has since become nationally acclaimed for its focus on fresh, seasonal, Yorkshire produce. Under new ownership since September 2019, this well-loved eatery has been beautifully refurbished with a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The restaurant features a private dining suite for up to 14 guests. Silversmiths' menu design reflects their commitment to 'A Taste of Yorkshire', showcasing the finest local food and supporting local producers, farmers, and fishermen. We had a great time having an early evening meal before heading to the theater. It was very convenient and we can't wait to do it again.
I booked a table for two for my partners 40th birthday as a surprise for him. I must say the communication between myself and the restaurant was great when I was booking and asking questions. I prepaid for the set 3 course meal from the Christmas menu, paying was very easy using the electronic system that was emailed to me. The food was out of this world and our server couldn’t have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the food.

Visited again for tasting menu. Absolutley stunning. Star of the show was the pig cheek with Thai red curry. This place is definitely worthy of a Michelin Star. Can’t wait to visit again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
