This is one of the main student pubs in town, last time I went it cost £14.95 for four drinks, one was water.
Went with some friends and family for some food and drinks at here as it was highly recommended. The staff were well skilled, friendly, and fast to help. The drinks were great and affordable. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the food. I ordered the Double Smashed Prime-rib beef burger, the burger was smaller than anticipated, bland, and very dry, making it hard to chew and swallow. There was only a smudge of salad on the plate, which was disappointing. Several of my friends ordered the Curry Mutton Wrap, which they all found insanely spicy even with sauce, and none of them ate them. The staff were nice enough to offer a replacement thankfully. We were all left shocked by the food standard. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all for food, but it’s great for drinks and atmosphere. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
