a hidden gem in sheffield city centre always have excellent eating here. super, friendly professional service. it is nice to have an independent restaurant in good quality in the city center, something outside the main area, but that makes it ideal. They also do a fabulous Vortheater menu high recommended. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Silversmiths:
...went for the cauliflower pie and my friend enjoyed some loose birds (Im too into womens lib for the joke in your head). This dish consisted of free-range chicken terrine and Wentworth pheasant terrine, sticky cabbage and creamed leeks. We were both impressed with our mains, although you will need a side or two to share 2.95 each) to pad it out.

Attended on Saturday 11th May with 7 others for the bottomless brunch. We were booked in for 12:00 which at the time of booking seemed quite early. It probably still was as we were the first in. We arrived just before and was promptly shown to our table. First drinks order taken dead on 12:00 and by 12:10 the first one had gone and we were ready for another. Great choice of drinks and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Quality, quantity, taste and presentation 10/10. The food was preordered and c
Superb experience for my mum for her birthday. We experienced their tasting menu which was 4 course and an intermission which was an incredibly culinary experience. The service by all the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable and the atmosphere throughout the evening was delightful.
My wife and I visited Silversmiths for an evening meal. I've got to say the food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and very friendly but I can't rate the service high enough. The servers couldn't have been better. After the meal, we thought we'd enjoy a cocktail... the one I wanted (a manhattan) wasn't on the menu, so they goggled it and made it for me. Honestly, if in the area I would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time at Silversmiths on Saturday, the staff are fantastic and the food was delicious. Our only feedback would be the choice of cocktails were not our ‘cup of tea’ but that is purely personal preference. The bonus was that we could have a spirit and mixer as an alternative which you don’t get in many other venues. Overall, a great experience and one I would happily repeat and recommend to family and friends.
Lovely Restaurant where we always enjoy their Sunday Lunch. As a Family of 6, we enjoyed mains of Lamb and Beef, followed by Desserts. Good selection of Wines/Beers and everything was good quality served by attentive waiting staff. Already looking forward to our next visit, thank you

Visited again for tasting menu. Absolutley stunning. Star of the show was the pig cheek with Thai red curry. This place is definitely worthy of a Michelin Star. Can’t wait to visit again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was as we’ve always found it, really good quality very tasty, although we would have preferred other options for dessert. The staff were top drawer, from the moment we arrived, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and loved making a fuss of our little girl. This was our first visit to Silversmiths after hearing many recommendations. The location is beautiful, the staff is very efficient and friendly, the wine selection is great, and the food is delicious and of high quality. We would highly recommend Silversmiths to everyone! - Hayley and Dan
We had a great time having an early evening meal before heading to the theater. It was very convenient and we can't wait to do it again.
I booked a table for two for my partners 40th birthday as a surprise for him. I must say the communication between myself and the restaurant was great when I was booking and asking questions. I prepaid for the set 3 course meal from the Christmas menu, paying was very easy using the electronic system that was emailed to me. The food was out of this world and our server couldn’t have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the food.
We came for our Christmas night out. We were welcomed by friendly staff who were very nice and accommodating. the surroundings were really nice. Delicious food, each course was yummy. The service was perhaps a little slow given there were only 4 tables seated so I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars. Would recommend

I organized a afternoon tea deal for me and 2 friends on birthday. I contacted via facebook to book and they reacted immediately. eating was nice, nice presentation, the staff was very friendly and the rhabarb tee was also delicious. they also offered the top-tier chocolate free for allergies. my friend also received a free birthday cocktail, I think that was a really nice note and made her special feeling. I would definitely recommend this place and I will visit again.
The reunification of old friends came together to meet after many years. I could not think of a better place to discuss old times about good eating and wein. I had the best boiled scallops I had ever for a starter, followed by lamb for a main course that simply melted in my mouth. the venue was fantastic surrounded by good people who enjoy great eating. the personal was simply amazing and could not provide enough for us to offer great customer service so rare to find these days. fantastic restaurant, highly recommended and will return.
Came today for Mother’s Day and despite what is no doubt one of their busiest days of the year, there was no let up in food quality or service. I’d highly recommend
Went last night for our first visit having seen some excellent reports eg Telegraph article. Not disappointed in any way! Very good service and excellent meal. Price was fair for this type of restaurant and the quality of food and service much better than many similar restaurants. Well worth a visit- we travelled 30 miles to take a look and will certainly return.
We were there as a family yesterday celebrating my granddaughters 21st....the staff made us very welcome the service was good and over all we had a good time.. we weren't rushed and they made a fuss of the birthday girl... needless to say the food was excellent.. roast beef recommended!!! We were all so impressed we have booked for my granddaughters graduation meal....wish we had found this restaurant 3yrs ago when she started her degree!!
