I want to extend my gratitude to everyone, from the staff to the guests, who shared their warmth and space with us as we celebrated our wedding tonight! Everyone was so welcoming and kind. It was just the four of us—my new husband, my maid of honor, my best man, and me—after the ceremony. As a queer Black woman in a relationship that appears straight, I truly value my time spent in queer and LGBTQ+ spaces. From the moment we walked in, we were met with smiles and genuine kindness. Thank you all for making our night unforgettable!
I absolutely adored the staff and experienced exceptional service. The friendly team was delightful, and the drinks were fantastic. This is definitely a great spot for an enjoyable evening out!
We had a surprisingly unpleasant experience last night at this bar. A friend had recommended it, saying it was a fun gay bar, but what we encountered was anything but welcoming. As we entered, we decided to explore the back area to get a feel for the atmosphere. However, the bartender at the front abruptly shouted at us for not showing our IDs upon entry. We apologized and walked back to show him our identification, but as we did, we were met with unfriendly stares from a group of guys sitting with the bartender. They made remarks like “you do realize this is a gay bar, right?” and “there are other places you could go,” all while the bartender continued to confront us about the ID issue. Feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, we decided to leave after showing our IDs. I’ve never experienced such rudeness from a bar staff and patrons before. While it shouldn’t matter, some of us in the group identify as LGBTQ, and it seems that if you're not part of the predominant crowd of gay men, you may find yourself treated poorly.
I had a very negative experience at this establishment. The bartender confronted me without provocation, making racially charged comments related to my skin color. It was deeply upsetting.
I've been there about ten times, and I only had a good experience once, back in 2018 during a party. The real issue is that the place just doesn't draw a crowd, and I can see why. I attended Furball in 2023, and there were maybe a couple dozen people there—an incredibly poor turnout for a Saturday night. This bar has so much potential! It seems like the management is stuck in their ways and not open to the feedback mentioned in numerous Google reviews. They really need to modernize and adapt to the times!
