Everyone was so welcoming and kind. It was just the four of us—my new husband, my maid of honor, my best man, and me—after the ceremony. As a queer Black woman in a relationship that appears straight, I truly value my time spent in queer and LGBTQ+ spaces. From the moment we walked in, we were met with smiles and genuine kindness.
