Just had a couple of drinks here a couple of times, very nice bar staff, we didn't have a meal. They dropped a star as the beer garden could have done with a tidy.
The official end of the Pennine way. After walking the whole route I popped in for a pint and my certificate. On smelling the aroma of the food I also booked a table for my evening meal. The food was delicious and the batter on my fish was probably the best I’ve tasted. What really makes this place and the ending of the Pennine Way so special is the owners. You walk in to a place that has a lovely welcoming feel and leave as if you have been friends with everyone for ages, knowing one day you will definitely come back, which is all down to the atmosphere the owners have created. A huge thank you for making my last step on the Pennine Way so memorable
Decided (unfortunately to give this pretty pub another go. Thought it might have improved in the past 12+ months. It hadn 't. Simply wanted 2 beers on a Saturday afternoon. Marie Celeste came to mind. No staff. Anwhere. Bar. Behind bar (both sides . Further into the pub. Nothing. No staff. No signs. No ring for service bell. Eerie! I waited patiently, but eventually used the only option open to me. The exit. So no drink. Walked over to Town Yetholm, went to Plough Hotel. Got my pint straight away! Not sure how The Border Hotel can survive without customers or staff. Shame really. I wish it worked as a pub. I don 't know if I 'll ever give it another go. (In case you 're interested, on previous visit I was again trying to order 2 beers. That time, staff were present (lots of them but they weren 't inclined to serve me. Lots of looking busy, but no service. Maybe I was wearing my invisibility cloak on that trip...
Eliana was great to work with! As a first-time Binary trade earner, I was understandably nervous and unclear about the process. Eliana went out of her way to walk me through each step to ensure I fully understood and was comfortable. Her patience was definitely appreciated and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted and reliable Binary and Bitcoin trader! i earned $14,700 today which i sucessfully withdrawn directly to my bank with a minimum of $1,000 contact Eliana russel Through:WhatsApp:+14794050526 Email: [hidden email]
We’ve had a few meals here now…summertime, sitting outside enjoying the food and friendly atmosphere. Today we booked for sitting inside, along with our dog Scoob. The welcome was excellent from the owners and the food, as always, spot on It’s a great example of how a local village pub and bar should be, will definitely be back for the winter menu….it looks superb.
