As avid gardeners, we always make a point to visit new Garden Centres whenever we come across them. We were very impressed by the variety and quality of plants available for purchase, and were able to find two plants we had been searching for. After shopping, we stopped by the restaurant and enjoyed coffee and delicious scones that were much better than the ones at our own local garden centre. View all feedback.

I wrote a positive review of this cafe last August, but I was extremely disappointed during my recent visit. I ordered fish and chips with a slice of buttered bread for 14.95. The bread was cut diagonally in half and the fish was the same size. The batter was overcooked and hard, and the few chips I received were also hard. The portion size was small and resembled a child's meal, with the slice of bread seemingly add... View all feedback.
When we visit Kelso we always have a trip to this lovely garden centre. There is something for everyone to look at and enjoy. The cafe is fantastic, the service is excellent and the food is really good. Reasonable priced too.
Bought a bargain David Austin rose great. However we went in the restaurant and one of our party wanted a sausage roll that were piled up on the serving hatch. After queuing we were told we couldn't buy a sausage roll for 10mins. It took about 5 mins to get our two scones and 3 coffees and pay to be told again it would be another 10 mins to buy a sausage roll! Why? Ridiculous

The bread was cut diagonally in half and the fish was the same size. The batter was overcooked and hard, and the few chips I received were also hard. The portion size was small and resembled a child's meal, with the slice of bread seemingly added to make up for it. I could have easily had buttered bread at home if I wanted. In total, I spent 47.00 for three meals, which I felt was a complete waste of money.
Minnce pie was awful as was 1 of the corner pieces more pastry than mince also Quiche had been reheated more than once, nothing like displayed pieces, very disappointed think twice abut going back
Have been a regular customer here but not anymore, went with my wife for lunch ordered, the Pea and Ham soup which was terrible, it had been obviously watered down to the stage there was no substance left in it it was awful the worst soup we have ever had, table next to us said the place had went downhill recently, the standard of food was at times shocking the soup we had was shocking. to charge £6 each for a soup and a roll was a joke, the total bill for 2 soups, a piece of shortbread and tea for two £19 40. the time was 12. noon and the place was only two thirds full, perhaps this tells its own story. I checked the prices at 4 other premises in Kelso, the maximim i saw for a plate of soup and a roll was £4.20. Give this place a miss overpriced poor quality
