John Riccitello's - Schenectady

I'm really going to miss Riccitello’s when they close later this week. Everything there is fresh and delicious, with generous portion sizes at reasonable prices. The classic, old-school atmosphere is a rarity these days. For my dining experience, I chose to eat in for dinner, and the cost per person was between $20 and $30.

The service was incredibly slow, taking an hour to receive our dinner, and it just wasn't worth the wait. Given the restaurant's claim of being authentic Italian, we had higher expectations for some delicious dishes, but neither entrée stood out. I won't be returning.

This charming, traditional Italian restaurant is a gem. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

I was initially surprised when we arrived at this restaurant, but the locals quickly filled us in on what a fantastic place it is—operating for over 50 years! The service was prompt, the waitstaff were lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. We will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
