What Carolina Tromp doesn't like about Black Pepper 2nd Ave:
The problem with this restaurant is the meals are way too small. I would need to order two meals to fill myself up and that would cost too much. Go to a restaurant that gives a decent amount of food for a meal. The other problem with this restaurant is they don't have enough vegan food without dairy, meat, honey, etc. View all feedback. What User likes about Black Pepper 2nd Ave:
I ordered the tandoori chicken with garlic naan bread and 2 chutnys mango and tameric . Always up for a good tandoori but the chicken was more saucy than the dry rub and char grilled tandoori I was used to from other restaurants, so the flavour didn't pack as much of a punch but still good none the less! read moreBlack Pepper restaurant offers flavorful Indian cuisine, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. While some customers have voiced concerns about portion sizes and vegan options, the quality of the food remains excellent. The tandoori chicken and naan bread are praised for their taste, despite some deviation from traditional preparation methods. The buffet-style dining option is great for team outings, offering a welcoming ambiance and neat surroundings. Customers appreciate the attentive service, with the owner going above and beyond to ensure a positive dining experience. Overall, Black Pepper stands out as a top choice for Indian cuisine in the city.
