Was User at City Perks a mag?
We spent an hour on the patio munching on a light lunch. City Perks is good for that in the late spring and summer. The food offering seemed slimmer than usual (there were only two or three items to eat on the chalkboard), but there is always a good variety of things to drink. Despite that, we can always find vegetarian food there. A relaxing choice. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about City Perks:
The baking at City Perks has really gone downhill. The scones and muffins are nearly inedible. However, I like that they have non-dairy options for coffee beverages - although the lattes and cappuccinos could be served a bit hotter. View all feedback.

We are regulars at City Perks. The coffee, food, and desserts are first rate. The area is small and cozy. However, very disappointed when staff allow a table for four or the six-seater sofa area to be taken by one person using a laptop and “working” and maybe had one coffee hours before; or two friends sitting side by side using two tables with their laptops. There are days when over half of the tables are used by laptops, sitting for extended periods to “get away from the home office”. Case in point, we had visitors and decided to have a late lunch and the best coffee in Saskatoon. It was laptop day and no seating again. Earls received our business, a monetary loss to City Perks. In the future not sure if we would attempt to bring visitors to the coffee shop. Really wish the staff would not allow larger seating areas to be used by one person with a laptop to take up space for hours. In the summer this is tolerable as there is seating outside but when the weather cools this becomes a problem. Gave lower rating coffee shop becoming a laptop spa.

City Perks is a delightful cafe. I'd recommend it to any fan of restaurants with cute decor, chalkboard art and a curated menu. I ordered the ham, pear and brie sandwich and a Gunpowder tea. Although I've had many versions of the brie and ham sandwich, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The side salad was delicious as well and the tea was brewed perfectly. City Perks also has a stellar selection of pastries and other desserts - I had a pear crumble that I know I'll be craving for weeks. This is a cafe that I am sure I will visit again soon.

They have some interesting choices for different foods. The goat cheese scone was great. The deck has lots of shade trees so even on a hot day one can find a shady spot.

Everything here is excellent. It's a fantastic spot for meeting up with my colleague who lives in Saskatoon.

I enjoy the chocolate brownie with whipped cream and raspberry sauce.
