Description

Ayden, owned by Canada's Top Chef winner Dale MacKay, offers outstanding food and drinks in a classy and comfortable setting. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, with highlights such as steak with bone marrow croquet, Mafalda pasta, and Basil Exposition cocktail. While some guests have experienced issues with service and handling of leftovers, overall, Ayden is a solid staple restaurant in Saskatoon worth checking out. The atmosphere is upscale, making it a perfect spot for a date night or celebration. The food is consistently delicious, with a standout charcuterie board and creative menu offerings like pork belly and wings with dipping sauce. Whether enjoying a cocktail crafted by the talented mixologist Travis or indulging in a mousse textured chicken liver pate, Ayden offers a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Here for a company Christmas party with high hopes. But the beverage service was incredibly slow, I had to order the Pork Tenderloin because they ran out of Steak... At least to say it was an extremely small part with only 3 small pieces...pork with a fat cap that took almost 50% of each piece. The cook on the pork was fine, but nothing I could replicate at home with a sous vagina as it appeared was how it was cooked here. (The cook on my wife was almost rare) The taste of the garrish was terrible and would appeal only to a few people. Neither I nor my wife could finish the clothes. Too small serving for a dinner meal, especially for the extremely high price. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Visit Saskatoon, the Hotel Concierge recommended that we try Ayden a few blocks away. I'm glad he did. Great meals all well ... shrimps and trout were highlights. Bryns Service another highlight. All round high-end experience.

Six of us went to a sat night in July. First we ordered wine and were advised that they were from him. We got a few tastes to help with a second choice, so that was nice. The beverage service was slower than normal, I would have had more if it were more sensible. The group went to order appys and most had scallops. At that time we were advised, they were also from scallops. This would have been extremely useful in the front. We all cloged. My husband and I chose the Tempura cream. It was a very good part, but extremely fat and a little repulsive. We ordered Risotto $32) that was the smallest part I've ever seen distributed over a plate, it was undercooked and like lemon balms, it was the worst thing I cost in a very long time. We also ordered steak, which was gratefully perfectly cooked. Others at the table also had Risotto and all felt the same. Overall, very slow service, not professional what I would expect for this restaurant. It was nice with my exit visit to the washing room where I quickly discovered NO-drawn paper. Thank you. Such a rough way to end an already terrible experience. We'll never be back. Save your money, this place can't live forever from her laurella and I'll see it soon.

If you like to try different types of alcoholic drinks, this is a great place. They have several traditional cocktails with their own spin as well as some creations of their own. We tried the Rose 75 and Paris in the Prairies... both excellent! I... above all, that we were not put under pressure to enjoy our main job, as we stated, we would like to enjoy our cocktails without getting a lot of food. We shared the Liver Parfait, which was very good. Ram liver cake with inlaid raisins. The pig stall was well cooked, but the amount of fat was overwhelming. The pasta was mostly pasta with the ratio of Ragu much too low. The taste was great. The sound level was good and allowed for conversations.

A little noisy including employees in the open kitchen. We are not the target clientele but kindly, they gave us a table in a quieter corner where we could chat without difficulty. Great meals and nice service.
