Kokanee Coffee - Sandpoint
Kokanee Coffee
Description
Kokanee in Sandpoint blends house-roasted coffee and inventive drinks (notably a maple chai) with scratch breakfast, flaky pastries and warm, community-focused hospitality. The faith-forward decor—Bibles and a prayer wall—creates a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere; staff are often praised for accommodating dietary restrictions. Guests note occasional inconsistencies in drink texture/temperature, limited menu visibility, and a doorway that may need assistance. Overall it’s a cozy, locally loved spot for coffee, breakfast and casual meetings.

We went for coffee with relatives and it's a very pleasant place for coffee and to have something to eat . We love the Christian atmosphere.
Macrofoam latte that's a tad too hot I'd rate 3.5. I got a breve and it seemed quite thin for a drink that's normally super creamy. The messages from god and a bible on every table may be a 5 star vibe for some, but for me they just give creepy cult vibes. I know, maybe it's just not a place for me and others may love it but that's why others can rate it 5 star and for me it's a 3. I'd recommend having pictures of the foods offered somewhere or maybe a menu board. I was a bit confused about what was offered when I first came in and only saw a menu card after I ordered. Nobody suggested anything. I've noticed later some croissant sandwiches being prepared in the back that I haven't seen on the menu. Maybe they have really good secret menu I missed somehow. Wheelchair accessibility: May need help opening the door but no steps is good.
