Description

Jalapeños offers a mix of customer experiences but is, overall, a favorite dining destination. Some found the food to be subpar, lacking freshness and seasoning, while others praised the generous portions and flavorful dishes. The ambiance was described as fun and festive, with a spacious patio and excellent service, catering to both adults and families. While some felt the pricing was high for the quality, others considered it reasonable. Despite varied opinions, many diners continue to return, citing the delicious food, great service, and overall positive experience as reasons for their loyalty to this Sandpoint favorite.

Talk about bang for your buck! The portions are massive! The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The restaurant is decorated in a fun theme so for children it's a fun place to go. Salsa was average. Cocktails were ok.... We will be back.

If you like your Italian food, disguised as Mexican food, then this is the place to go! Plus side, they do serve margaritas

Food was good we shared nachos and one plate was enough for three of us. Although we are not necessarily large eaters service was great. The server was very friendly. The ambience was typical Mexican restaurant very enjoyable. I would definitely be there again.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. My go-to dish is the chicken taco plate, but I have also enjoyed trying various items on the menu. The drinks are also good. The fried ice cream is exceptional for those who enjoy dessert. The kids' menu includes fun smiley fries. The service is excellent, with food coming out promptly, although there may be a longer wait during busy times. I like to sit in the bar area, which has a fun and festive atmosphere with televisions showing sports, which my husband enjoys. Overall, it's a cool spot in downtown.

I think if you have a restaurant named Jalapenos, you should have... fresh Jalapenos. Food was hard from sitting under the heat lamp for a long time, service was fine but everyone runs around like chickens with their heads cut off, idk worst Mexican I've had in Idaho and it's SO overpriced for what it is. Not a vibe. I won't go back.
