Top notch authentic Italian. Had the bruschetta with mozzarella, then the lobster ravioli. Both were incredible, the lobster ravioli had the most creamy rich sauce and some shelled shrimp cooked into it. Great service, indoor and outdoor seating.
Very authentic Italian food. Presented beautifully and the staff were very quick and super polite. Would love to come here again.

Reservations are a must. Especially if you are going to a show at Balboa Theater. It's conveniently located pretty close to the theater. The staff was very nice. Food it excellent. Not a huge place, so it isn't good for groups bigger that 6 or less.
The cioppino was good by the pappardelle duck ragu was just phenomenal. It was so sublime that I had to eat another before leaving SD. The orange zest touch was in perfect harmony with the texture of the pasta and the truffle oil. Definitely, one ofbest Italian dishes I have tasted in North America.
