Waffle Spot King's Inn - San Andreas

This little restaurant with a retro theme is located within the King's Inn. Plenty of parking, plenty of seats. No wait and no reservation needed. We were excited to try the waffle. I ordered banana nuts waffle and added 4.50 to make it a combo plate, which included 2 eggs and country potatoes. My friend ordered apple cinnamon waffle and chicken tender. I love that my banana nut waffle has actual bananas IN it and not just ON top of it as toppings. My biggest complaint is that they only gave me 4 tiny little pieces of banana. I mean come on!!!!! My friend's apple cinnamon waffle also only has a few small slices of apples in his. Overall I would say the waffles are good but definitely not worth 11. Chicken tenders were bland. The waffles at this restaurant are amazing! I also suggest trying the country style potatoes, although they may not be as good on Sundays (possibly due to a different crew). This is my favorite breakfast spot in San Diego.

Who doesn't want to eat out with a huge King Waffle? Inside the room has a retro theme with a large color scheme. The staff was amazing. Helpful, attentive, pleasant. Eating was pretty fast, though they were pretty busy. The red velvet waffle was crazy good.. Adding eggs, bacon and sausage to it a dish was almost too much food! I'll say they're a little overpriced for breakfast food.. even to Cali standards. Overall but.. highly recommended.

I had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant while in San Diego for a conference. The waffles were outstanding - big, fluffy, and topped with apple cinnamon compote and slices of fresh apples. Delicious!

Small dinner with great taste and large portions. It was our first time, but it won't be the last. I had the choir waffle and it was DELICIOUS!! The chicken was very crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inner waffles (ALL) were very airy, fluffy and light?.
