Italian food has always been perplexing to me The ingredients aren't that high-end but somehow, the bill always ends up being around $40 per person.

Hostess seated us promptly. Breakfast choices are buffet or menu - we ordered off the menu. Healthy choices are noted on the menu and I had the avocado and poached egg on toast. The entree was delivered within 20 minutes and was served hot. The menu prices are commensurate with a Waldorf Astoria but a bit pricey for the Orlando area.

The food is great at Oscar's and we enjoy frequenting for Brunch, and recommend it to everyone! However, please note that as policy they do not accept reservations - even if you're booking through OpenTable! Seating is based on a first come, first seated basis. Be aware that they will accept an online reservation, with no intention of honoring it if seating is full.

Opera Caffe offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of Italian dishes made with love and care. The restaurant is known for its authentic homemade pasta, cooked by a real Italian mom, which is a must-try for pasta enthusiasts. The service is excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff creating a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of authentic Italian dining. While the cold weather and slow service might be a drawback for some, the quality of food and overall experience at Opera Caffe is worth a visit. From delicious mushroom ravioli to mouthwatering truffle fettuccine and gnocchi, the menu offers a wide range of options that will leave you craving for more. Whether you're looking for a family dinner spot, a cozy date night, or just craving some homemade Italian goodness, Opera Caffe is a great choice that won't disappoint.

The duck ragu pappardelle was delicious. The clam linguini perfect. The pear arugula salad with Gorgonzola was delicious. Best we’ve ever eaten. They delivered a wonderful Tirimisu to celebrate my mother’s birthday. It was a perfect dinner before the show. The service was excellent.

We went early tonight and had the entire place to ourselves luxury compared to every other time I've been here. Outstanding I am gluten free and this is the ONLY place I eat gluten because it is made with Italian flour and I have zero reaction. Heaven.

First time experiencing this wonderful restaurant and we loved every bite! Service, food and wines were outstanding, as was their Tiramisu, espresso and cappuccino! Happy to have discovered this gem in the Gaslamp Quarter. Our best new Italian restaurant discovery for 2024!

Our party of 3 women dined at Operacaffe last night. The menu is authentic Italian dining and offers something for all palates. We shared a special salad of pear stuffed with walnuts and mascarpone with arugula. It was light and delicious. Enough for 2-3 . I had porcini ravioli with truffle oil that was perfect and homemade. Another had fettuccine with pesto and shrimp that she enjoyed and uncharacteristically cleaned her plate. But most importantly, my granddaughter with celiac disease could get chicken Parmesan with pasta that was gluten-free, celiac-safe and o can attest to delicious. We were unable to eat desserts but they also were varied and looked perfect( and ample). The host was most attentive and very careful to ascertain allergies and sensitivities. The setting was simple, unassuming and tasteful. Very comfortable and centrally located .

Thiswas our first time at Operacaffe and it did not disappoint. We weregraiously greeted by Quica to our reserved table for 6. Weeere pleasantly surprised withstood assortment of cocktails wine and beer. The food menu also offered a wide range of choices, including daily specials. I ordered Veal Osso Bucco and the portion was sufficiently generous to share with my husband. Others in our party ordered Pollo Limone and Osso Bucco ravioli all excellent and tasty. We will definitely return.

Reservations are a must. Especially if you have a show at Balboa Theater. It is conveniently located quite close to the theatre. The staff was very nice. Eat it excellent. Not a huge place, so it's not good for groups bigger that 6 or less.

The Cioppino was good of the pappardelle duck ragu was only phenomenal. It was so elevated that I had to eat another before I left SD. The orange toe was in perfect harmony with the texture of pasta and truffle oil. Definitely one of the best Italian dishes I tasted in North America.

Top-notch authentic Italian. Had the Bruschetta with Mozzarella, then the lobster ravioli. Both were incredible, the lobster ravioli had the creamy richest sauce and some peeled shrimps cooked in it. Great service, indoor and outdoor seats.

If you love homemade pasta as much as I do you have to go to Opera Caffe . They specialize in authentic Italian cuisine cooked by a real Italian mom Patrizia. Every dish is made to order and everything is made from scratch, including their amazing pizza dough ? Duck pappardelle: homemade noodles in a rich duck ragu with truffle oil ? Ravioli: stuffed with spinach and ricotta with shrimp, scallops in an amazing saffron sauce ? Fried Burrata: ooey gooey melted cheese that?s so crispy on the outside ? Capricciosa: loaded with olives, ham, mushrooms and artichoke ? Calamari and shrimp: golden crispy with the perfect tenderness ? Bruschetta: toast topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic and prosciutto ?Chocolate bomb: crispy chocolate shell with pistachio, chocolate, strawberry ice cream Make sure to check out their rotating seasonal specials too. True Italian hospitality and delicious food makes this one of my favorite Italian spots.

Very nice food and super friendly staff. Great ambience. We went early Tuesday morning and they had just opened up. The lady there was very nice and the food arrived on time. Portion sizes are decent. Plenty of vegetarian/ gluten free options. Will definitely revisit and recommend to friends and family.

Wow! I had an amazing experience at Operacaffe. The lasagna was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, and they told me it’s prepared in the northern style.

We stopped here for dinner while in town for a Padres game. We ordered the Maine Lobster Ravioli, Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken, Linguine Alle Vongole Veraci, and another ravioli dish (don't recall the name). Most of the dishes were excellent, though the clam dish was fairly bland. However, there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, so the service significantly declined throughout the meal, with zero table visits after the food was dropped off. We would have ordered dessert but it was never offered to us, so we just paid and left. All in all, the food was mostly great, and on a less busy night, perhaps the experience would be better.
