Feedback
Overall, the restaurant had a mixed bag of reviews from customers. Some noted that the atmosphere was good, with attentive service and unique dishes, while others were highly critical of the quality of the food. Some patrons enjoyed the beautiful views and ambiance, while others found the food to be disappointing and overpriced. Highlighted issues included rubbery calamari, tasteless paella, burnt omelettes, and overcooked rice and veggies. Despite the mixed reviews, many diners appreciated the attentive service and lovely views, with some recommending specific dishes like the salmon and blueberry blonde beer. Ultimately, the restaurant seems to have potential but may need to address some consistency in food quality to match the beauty of its location.
I love this place! Your salsa is excellent and the mole is wonderful too. I eat here every time I am in Laguna Beach.
This was one of our places, but tonight was a disappointment. I think everyone is entitled to a free night.
Dining at Tom Ham's is not having a meal, it's an experience. We took it for our adjacent stay but it would have been a huge miss if we didn't go there. I had the best roasted beet salad in my life. The fish was over the top. Wanted.to meet the chef sowent back next day but the staff seemed to be less cooperative the next day. Anyway, focusing on the bright side. Thearrangement is breath taking. The view of the sea, the downtown and point loma is not enough as if when some jet skiing guyshows off his skill. I thought for a moment the restaurant owner hired him for entertainment ???? Price is very reasonableaccording to the experience. Will be back when we are in the city.
We came to this spot later in the evening for some dinner, and the experience was very satisfactory. The oysters were very fresh, bouillabaisse was great, paella was delicious, and linguini is pretty good too. The waiters were very attentive andwelcoming. The interior is nice and they have pretty custom-made napkins. It was a good visit.
