What M M likes about Higher Grounds Coffee House:
As other have said, it's a one-man show so be patient and prepared to wait but it's worth it for the delicious made-to-order breakfast/lunch food served with a pleasant attitude.. View all feedback. What Jenny Tran doesn't like about Higher Grounds Coffee House:
Left really upset and hungry. This man is running a business but didn't have his iPad out to check any door dash orders. I never got my food and had to leave empty-handed running late waiting 15 minutes to receive nothingService: 1/5 View all feedback.

read moreHigher Grounds is a hidden gem in Daly City that has been serving up delicious made-to-order breakfast and lunch dishes since the early 90's. The cafe offers a cozy and comfortable atmosphere where patrons can enjoy a variety of crepes, sandwiches, and drinks made with care by the owner. While service may be a bit slow due to it being a one-man operation, the food is well worth the wait. The menu features simple ingredients prepared in a way that brings out their delicious flavors, with favorites like the puttanesca crepe and tuna sandwich standing out. Higher Grounds is a must-try spot for anyone looking to enjoy a homemade meal in a welcoming setting.
A nice little place to eat a great Crepe or have a coffee.
Cute cafe right in the middle of Glen Park. It was busy on Sunday morning but the owner hustled and showed each customer excellent service and pleasantries.
This wonderful man works by himself and cooks great food. The food is worth the wait.
The croissant french toast here is incredible plus crepes are also delicious. Service was stupendous.

read moreThe restaurant is a small cozy place for a brunchOne person serving, probably the owner, very courteous and attentive to his customers.
Never been here so I tried the cheapest crepe: Curry (one of my favorite flavors) and although three were only 2 others in the store, it took about 20-30m
Went here this past Labor Day weekend for the first time.
