We had their delicious salad, the Seco de cordero, and the lomo saltado. all were very good. We loved the dessert, which was a passion fruit pana cotta. We liked the ambience. It has the feel of a friendly neighborhood place. My friend loved her pisco sour. I would go back! the service was excellent! View all feedback.
What ElizabethM doesn't like about Piqueos:
Our group of four loved the food!! Every dish was very good or great. The ceviche was wonderful, the salad was really tasty (and served all four of us). The Peruvian take on paella was excellent. Those who ate it loved the spare ribs and tuna tartare. The pisco sours were delicious! The music was too loud for us but the friendly, if multi-person, service was generally attentive. The decor was fun and the place pretty... View all feedback.
The food quality for the price was simply not there, and it was clear that it had some inexperienced waiting staff. the Lomo-saltado was a great disappointment.
We come here about 4-5 times a year because eating is consistently good. we started with a fungus emdanada, which was hot with a butterfly flare crust. we had the thunfish and the salmon as our head, and they were moist and tasty, especially with the roasted wobble and the litts of red wobble. the sauces were all delicious and compliment the food. it is still a popular place to go!
Worst Peruvian food I’ve ever eaten. Ceviche was… sweet? Octopus was fishy and seemed more steamed than grilled. In general, everything was too greasy. The service and neighbourhood location are sweet but food needs a total revamp (except the home made passion fruit juice).
Love Piqeos, been going there for years since it opened. Amazing, creative, satisfying food.
Amazing ceviche. Every small plate was terrific. Service is friendly and efficient. A great find.
