This place is a gem. Since merging with Cafe Bastille, they offer both a Catalan and a French menu. The food is exquisite. Had the escargot and the rabbit in a mustard sauce. The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
What MichaelP doesn't like about B44:
The restaurant was decent, but not worth the price as nothing stood out as particularly good. They did provide ample bread, but it was just average supermarket style baguette. The French onion soup I ordered was soggy, slightly greasy, and had an odd tasting broth. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. We arrived in San Francisco craving some tasty Spanish food and that's exactly what we found at this restaurant.
Excellent with a unique combo of French (surprising) and Spanish tapas options. Paella had the right amount of treats in it.
A wonderful evening at B44! The food was fabulous and came out quickly. Every dish, superb and flavorful the paella is a can't miss and will keep you coming back for more. Servers were attentive, friendly and professional. This is bookmark worthy to return again.
I’ve been there many times still really good it’s the best
We had the most delicious tapas paella! The food here is authentic and beautifully prepared. Service is perfect. Our server Sabine was knowledgeable, professional and welcoming. She advised us about the wine list too. We had a great meal and a terrific evening. Can’t wait to go back.
