The restaurant has a modern... read more I discovered this restaurant after passing by it many times and decided to give it a try after attending a show at the SF Symphony. The restaurant has a modern and open design, located on the bottom floor of a building, making it a welcoming place. During Happy Hour, they offered beer, wine, and mocktails for $5. I started with their Grüner wine and some appetizers before moving on to the main course. The Grüner wine was a new experience for me and I found it to be a positive one, with a drier and less sweet flavor profile compared to a Sav Blanc. The Monkey Bread was decadent, topped with baked cheese and basil aioli. The spicy meatballs were not as spicy as expected, but the tomato sauce complemented them well. The flatbread with dips was okay, but not as impressive as I had hoped. For the entree, I had the Pan Roasted Salmon with cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and walnut pesto. The char on the vegetables added to the flavor of the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and not overcooked. The walnut pesto provided a nutty and earthy sauce to the dish. Overall, I think this restaurant is a good choice for a decent meal, albeit a bit pricey. The Happy Hour offers good value for beer and wine.
