Troya's dinner menu may be superior to its brunch offerings. The brunch menu had a mix of hits and misses, with dishes that were good but not outstanding. The chicken salad was lackluster and the eggplant dish was overwhelmed by a sauce that was too sweet. While a DJ was playing great music, it seemed more fitting for an evening atmosphere and was not fully appreciated during the day. View all feedback.
What Isabel Godoy doesn't like about Troya:
Great food, but fell into this black hole of service. The waitress took so long to get our order and never checked us. The menu items ran out, not the server's fault, but she kept asking for refills, and she didn't even consider whether we wanted a dessert. View all feedback.
The food at Troya is 5 stars, the ambiance maybe 4A friend and I split the pita bread and two dips: red pepper walnut and yogurt.
I love Turkish food and Troya does NOT disappoint! We started with the watermelon salad; watermelon, mint, fennel, feta and arugula.
The waiter was friendly and professional, but had too many tables. The food was salty and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. He used to enjoy this place, but will probably not be back now.
Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time.
Our family of 6 had a really fabulous dinner because we were lucky enough to have the private room. It was the perfect place for the last night of our vacation. We come back every year and don't eat dinner until the last evening of our trip at Tucci Benucch. It has become a family tradition. We love the breadsticks with delicious olive oil, the wine prices are reasonable and there are Italian wines on the list. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Our server was really great too!
