The tuna served in the carpaccio was extremely fishy and slimy and the server tried to convince me that it’s supposed to taste this way. Even if it doesn’t give me a stomach ache, it was NOT enjoyable. On top of that the, 26% mandatory tip/fee no matter what party size is infuriating when food was bad and service was mid. Atleast they were transparent about it I guess.

We sat at a... read more I really want to give it 4 stars because the food was quite good but the service was unbelievably slow and the table was unbelievably uncomfortable. We sat at a table to the left of the entrance and it was unreasonably low and had unthinkably terrible ergonomics. I'm only 5' tall and I was so uncomfortable...I can't imagine how a 6' person would feel at that tiny table. Our backs hurt afterward! We waited about an hour for our sushi to arrive and there was no acknowledgement from the staff about the delay. When our nigiri finally came, we were disappointed with the portion size. The highlights are that the fish tasted fresh, they have a nice sake list and the ambiance is nice. Maybe if we went on a quieter night and sat at a normal table we would have had a better time.
