We were pretty happy in the end as the food was delicious especially the salt and pepper calamari and the saganaki and our waitress was so friendly and helpful offering to add different toppings to our pizza. Would highly recommend The Rock.

We tried different things on the menu but would definite... read more The Rock by the Bay is one of very many restaurants in Rye along the coast of the Mornington Peninsula. We tried different things on the menu but would definitely recommend the Mussels in a broth of wine tomatoes and various spices, like a bit of chili.It was without question the best Mussels I ever had in a delicious broth. Actually it would be nice to have the recipe.The oysters were served a bit strange as the dozen were served in six shell, that is on top of another.The gummy shark I leave to others to eat.The highlight was the mussels.
