The girls at the rye hotel go out of their way to make your visit special but also that we will always come back. The mussels are our favourites and they must pile at least 50 on to the plate and the sauce is bezutiful to mop up with bread. Not a drop goes to waste. Service was awful. Everything I ordered seemed to be too hard for the waitress servicing the outdoor bar. Wasn’t ordering fancy cocktails only beer, wine and soft drink. Seemed to have plenty of time to scroll through her phone. Tried to order food but was...told the kitchen was closed. on Sunday. Website says kitchen open from days a week. The food was absolutely delicious, no complaints at all. Definitely go back. The hotel is very clean and the service was excellent.

Service is good, food is lovely, great play area and beer garden for warm weather! Good spot in the heart of rye to take the family for dinner!
Poor food quality, my porterhouse steak was so tasteless and grey (it was supposed to be medium rare). Our carbonara was sloppy the pasta was overcooked and soft. Slow and inattentive service. Overall overpriced. Not a fan, and will not be back. Service: 1
