While holidaying in Rye we had dinner one night at the Rye RSL.We had seen their big billboard outside a couple of days before advertising Christmas in July Dinner so we booked in and very nice it was to. It was a three course meal, lovely tomatoe View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rsl Rye:
Terrible food ! ...and how expensive???? From the freezer to the deep fryer! My burger was disgusting! ' saw dust pattie!!!!! Wagyu beef? Are you kidding?????? Soggy fish.......if you ask this kind of money for meals at a RSL at least employ a qualified chef and buy quality produce! Very disappointed! View all feedback.
Don’t bother, there are numerous OTHER places that you could try. The lamb blackstrap with a Greek salad, don’t do it. It’s a salad of sorts and disappointing. If you feel like a steak, again don’t do it. It’s average.
Had a meal there while we were staying there. The food was very generous and it and the drinks were reasonably priced
Great local spot to enjoy a light meal or something more substantial. Lots of menu choices and the food comes out quickly and is very tasty. Will definitely be back.
If you want a special restaurant type meal, where you can even enjoy the evening with large groups, do not go to Sorrento or to Rosebud restaurants when you can enjoy yourselves at RSL Rye
Had a fabulous meal at the Rye RSL, service was great, staff very friendly, good choice on the menu, something for everyone
