It's not the best place to eat, but it falls in line with other similar chains like Applebee's and Fridays in terms of quality. The bar service was efficient, but the drinks were poorly made. On the bright side, they are reasonably priced.

The waiter did not seem to care much about providing good service. I had to wait for about an hour before receiving my meal, and the waiter never returned to apologize for the delay or to see if I needed anything else.

The food on the salad bar looked old and some items were not refilled. The salad was not fresh, with wilted lettuce and overcooked chicken. We considered leaving, but we were in a rush and didn't want to search for another place to eat. In hindsight, we wish we had.

Tasted like cheeze-whiz was on it and almost 3 pieces of chicken. It was horrible for $12.99. I should have sent it back. The salad bar was ok. Lots of clean-up needed. Food everywhere. I was a bit worried about the cleanliness of the plates. Waitress could care less if we were there. I saw lots of personnel, but no one seemed to be doing anything. Management needs to step up and make these people work for a living.

All staff was busy with a regular’s party so no one available to serve us. We seated ourselves. HD to track down a waitress. Salad bar was empty. Was told sorry but they were all participating in party. Finally went to refill salad bar because we were standing there waiting. Never saw waitress after that. Had to locate to refill drinks and take plates away. When complained to waitress she was rude to us about it. I’ll never go back.

Paying the check was the most awkward experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The server set the card reader on the table and stared at it while I tipped, how strange; at least hold it and let it face me. Kids Mac and cheese was very old and dry. Potato skins barely had cheese with suspect sour cream. The tables are rundown and need renovated. I honestly wish I just went to get fast food. How does this place have 4 stars?!

However, if the restaurant is located west of I-75, it should be labeled as Riverview, not Gibsonton. This discrepancy should be fixed. It seems more fitting for them to be associated with Riverview, don't you think? Interestingly, even the map description reads "American Restaurant Riverview".
