Since Pondok closed down 2 years ago, we've been seeking for a place that did proper ayam sereh (lemongrass chilli fried chicken) and terong balado (chilli eggplant) all around sydney and well...Jimbaran exceeded our expectations. They have various kind of foods that you won't find in any other Indonesian restaurants. We ordered sop buntut, gulai ayam, udang telur asin, lumpia udang, and rice. But, unfortunately the sop buntut already deleted from the menu list. We liked the taste of the foods. Very authentic. The service was good. Keep it up, Jimbaran!

The food was a refreshing and creative change from other Indonesian restaurants we've tried, and we definitely plan to come back soon!

We enjoyed gado gado, Nasi Goreng, beef curry, and stir fried prawns, all of which were delicious.
