Jimbaran Indonesian Restaurant in Randwick offers a diverse menu with gluten free, vegetarian, and nut free options, as well as customizable spice levels. Banquet options are available for groups at reasonable prices. The friendly staff and owner provide excellent service. While some takeaway orders may have been disappointing in the past, dining in offers an authentic Indonesian experience with generous portions and flavorful dishes. Was TomB at Jimbaran a mag?
The food at this restaurant was incredibly delicious and authentic. Don't let the average decor deter you from trying their dishes. We enjoyed gado gado, Nasi Goreng, beef curry, and stir fried prawns, all of which were delicious. View all feedback.
What Elizabeth D dislikes about Jimbaran:
We were the only customers on a Tuesday night at 8pm, so we expected it to not be busy. Food was good but it seems harder to find REAL Indonesia food but the Nasi Goreng was adequate for my tastes. Good prices for average meal. View all feedback.

After living in Randwick for 20 years, my family and I finally decided to celebrate a birthday at this highly recommended restaurant. The food was a refreshing and creative change from other Indonesian restaurants we've tried, and we definitely plan to come back soon!

Located on a busy street in Randwick this place allows you to reminisce Bali. Jimbaran does indonesian classics. If you're seeking a great indonesian meal, this is the spot.<br/ <br/ We tackled two mains from the Chefs Suggestion menu.<br/ -BETUTU which consists of duck wrapped in spices and banana leaf $24). Duck is really tender and flavoursome.<br/ -BABI GULING pork belly marinated with herbs and spices roasted and served with pickled vegetables $26). Pork is succulent and really tasty.<br/ <br/ Also had GADO-GADO steam mixed veggies and tofu served with home-made peanut sauce.<br/ All paired with white rice as it allows us to fully appreciate the flavours of these dishes.<br/ <br/ Jimbaran has classic indonesian desserts and they also have Italian desserts to cater to more people. I had KETAN HITAM black sticky rice with coconut milk. Found this on the sweeter side.<br/ <br/ I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Great find in the suburbs of Sydney
Great food and lovely service. Very nicely and elegant decorated. I personally think this is one of the best Indonesian restaurants i've ever tried in Sydney for the last couple years. Food is made with authentic Indonesian spices that make a very succulent result, rich of flavours and satisfying. With a very reasonable price and Bali ambience, the restaurant itself resembles the jimbaran touch that is just perfect.
"This restaurant offers delicious food and a wonderful dining experience. The staff treat you like a valued customer and are willing to cater to your preferences, whether you want more spice or less. It's also a great place to celebrate your birthday, and there's no fee for bringing your own cake."
Staff: super friendly and the owner keep asking about whether the food was okay or notfood: food is okay. the fried rice and chilli paste is goodvibes: feels like bali and indo
My host parent recommend me this place. Days after, me and my friend came to try. They have various kind of foods that you won't find in any other Indonesian restaurants. <br/ <br/ We ordered sop buntut, gulai ayam, udang telur asin, lumpia udang, and rice. But, unfortunately the sop buntut already deleted from the menu list. <br/ <br/ We liked the taste of the foods. Very authentic. The service was good. <br/ <br/ Keep it up, Jimbaran! <br/

Love this place and the recent renovations are excellent and, as can happen, haven’t changed the atmosphere at all. The staff are lovely, the food is excellent and being BYO makes it great value for any number of diners.
The chicken satay was good but lamb was so so . The chicken was absolutely delicious. The vegetarian dish was amazing and the fish was good too. This is the first time I had Indonesian food as I usually cook it myself. The experience was really good . The chicken wad heavy as it was cooked in coconut milk..we really enjoyed our food. The desert was good too mango coated with with choc and chocolate mousse.i would love to try their other dishes soon
I've eaten here in the past and found the food enjoyable. Last night we ordered take away and honestly the food was inedible. The beef rendang was black and looked like dog food. The supposed me goring, was made up of what looked like 2 minute cheap noodles, and a handful of greens thrown in topped with flakes of chicken from a whole cooked one. Lemongrass and chilli chicken was great for the flavours but the chicken itself was awful. What has happened to you? If that food was served at our table in the restaurant we would have been bewildered, but what can you do after you order takeway like this. There is no point in complaining to the restaurant.
Friend recommended this Balinese restaurant. Went there to have dinner. Mostly the food did not disappoint us. The satay was delicious, so was the fried rice, beef rendang, curry chicken (crispy skin). Friendly service.
