Was Peter Steinberg at Corner 75 a mag?
Magyar food. Absolutely loved my dinning experince at the restaurant. the parika chicken was a true hugarian dish with homade button noddles and a side of cumber salad is another hungarian favorite. the service was great and rhe atmosphere felt of budpest. View all feedback.

What John P dislikes about Corner 75:
I’ve been looking forward to this restaurant for a very long time so I expected more. Whilst the staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself is cosy, it’s also very noisy dependent upon where your seated. We had a large and noisy group near us which was unpleasant. The entrees were nice and plentiful which included Hungarian garlic bread, calamari and mushrooms all of which were very nice. I had one of their ‘s... View all feedback.

Dinner was lovely and reminded me of home style food from growing up (no, I'm not from a Hungarian background but regularly had paprika chicken and stroganoff etc). Food is heavy cream based as you should expect from that sort of thing, so don't go expecting diet food. The restaurant is kinda' older style but that's cool anyway. Check out the photo collection. The service is wonderful, the waiter was fun and friendly, the owner was present, engaged and lovely. Recommended.

Hungarian restaurants aren't very common in Sydney which is one of the reasons why Corner 75 has established such a great reputation over the years. The other reason is the wonderful food of course. Hearty and homely traditional Hungarian fare probably sums up the offerings here. That said, why a couple of the dishes may not technically be traditional Hungarian food, it's easy to see the influence. I first visited with a Hungarian family member who helped with some of the menu items. However I've been back several times without the inside knowledge and have managed to order a range of wonderful dishes under the guidance of the knowledgeable and welcoming floor staff. Be sure to give some of the Hungarian red wine a try if it's in stock (the "bull's blood"), it's a good table wine and fits the theme nicely. Whilst I think the style of this food suits winter weather perfectly, it could be adaptable to warmer weather also, so whatever time of the year give Corner 75 a try for something a little different minus the gimmicks.

Absolutely incredible, highly recommend. The schnitzel was not only the best schnitzel I've had in my life but one of the best meals I've ever had.
