The Highwater - Queens

Super sweet place for a few drinks. They close super late, so it is definitely a good option to come late night to sit down and enjoy some drinks and good food. (I got the tacos while visiting). It takes a little to make your order ready, but maybe bc if it was too full. The employees are really nice.

Low key and cute for brunch. Menu had elements where the flavors combined in a meal that were a bit bizarre and seemed a bit hell no for my taste. I ordered breakfast tacos for brunch, which was good. They have groundless mimoses and other foods. Included are photos of what other people got at my table. The picture with dumplings are two separate dishes, dumplings are vegetarian!

Fun tiki bar experience for some apps and cocktails. The Korean BBQ spits and fried vegetable dumplings ordered. The taste was good and the portions were beautiful. Cool music too. The staff was also super friendly. Would you come back here?

You go to move is to come here before 7:00 for discounted beers and small apps before you eat a main and drink one of their fabulous tropical inspired cocktails. The food was executed and the staff was incredibly friendly. I thought the Kalua-Pork-Tacos were Fab. In terms of apps, select 4 and create your own adventure! I'm definitely back! A mini oasis in Astoria.

Food is awesome, drinks are great. And the music isn’t too loud!! Loved it. Would definitely come back.
