The restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with live music and a friendly owner. Recommended dishes include chilaquiles, shrimp enchiladas, guacamole, and the Cuban sandwich with hand-cut fries. Overall, Chano's seems to be a hit or miss depending on individual experiences, but it's a popular spot for those looking for a Mexican dining experience in the neighborhood.
If you're looking to spend time with friends and indulge in authentic Mexican cuisine, Chano's is the best spot in Queens. Chanos, Genesis, and Camila will ensure you feel like a part of the Chano's family.
Loved the happy hour margaritas and burrito combo at this friendly and fun place. The real highlight was Jose wheeling out the guacamole cart to prepare the most delicious fresh guac I've ever had right in front of me. Top notch food, service and setting. Will be sure to revisit when back in NYC.
Great restaurant! I ordered chilaquiles, I got a big portion and were yummy, good coffee and nice environment, there was quite live music (like ballad songs) with a really good singer. The service exceeded our expectations, specially for the hostess (Ithink her name is Camila).
Just had an awesome dinner here. Jose at the bar took great care of me. He made me a delicious margarita then helped me select the perfect meal. The shrimp enchiladas with red sauce were perfect. Huge shrimp and the sauce had the best amount of spice andsmokiness. The beans and rice were a terrific compliment. I'll definitely be going back. Jose made great suggestions for my nextvisit. Thanks Jose!!
This was my birthday cake and meal. The staff was fantastic! I was feeling bummed out for being alone on my birthday. But not anymore. This place is great.
