The service, however, seems to be a highlight at this restaurant, with friendly and accommodating staff members mentioned in several reviews. Great local place to have brunch or cocktails for that matter. It is nice to see places like dinerbar in the area and not just in Manhattan. Looking forward to returning. View all feedback.
What Ottó Csonka dislikes about Diner:
Went during the Memorial Day weekend. The food was unimpressive, to say the least. However, we were more interested in our company and conversation. In that, we were very pleased. We sat undisturbed for over 3 hours. Our waiter, Casper, was very friendly and most accommodating. Next get together we may go back because of the service. If you are more interested in the food than the service, go to a real diner more men... View all feedback.
Fantastic restaurant! The brunch and late lunch options are amazing. Make sure to arrive early, as it gets packed quickly.
I lived here from 2013 to 2016 and was very happy with my experience. I had no problems with the staff or management. The apartments are quite nice and spacious by New York standards, and the rooftop is a great feature. I also appreciated the relatively quiet neighborhood, which is a nice escape from the city hustle. I have wonderful memories from my time at the Contour!
The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating. Many of the negative reviews stem from the previous management, who was replaced before the holidays last year, along with the maintenance crew. The new team is incredibly hardworking and attentive to any concerns. The building is kept very clean, especially during this pandemic, and the front desk staff are consistently friendly and helpful. We’ve had a wonderful time here. Although it is currently closed due to the pandemic, there is a brand new gym, a children's playroom, and a rooftop lounge that you can reserve for parties or events at no extra cost. There is also a car garage available for rental in the basement for an additional fee. This building is very modern and, in my opinion, a great alternative to the Alexander a few blocks away without being too pretentious. Additionally, the units are much larger, and the square footage in some of these units is hard to find in newer buildings these days.
I love the warm and inviting atmosphere, along with the friendly hosts who make you feel completely at home. It has the charm of a small, family-run restaurant.
