The restaurant is conveniently located closer to Long Island, making it more accessible compared to going all the way to Richmond Hill or Church Ave in Brooklyn. I highly recommend trying their buss up shot, as many places tend to make it overly oily and flat. I am deducting one star because I have had issues with the pholourie not being in stock and food not being delivered to food delivery services like UberEats and Grubhub in a timely manner. However, this does not detract from the quality of the food.

I had this restaurant cater my son's first birthday party and the food was fantastic. The curry channa and potatoes were a hit with everyone. The chow mein and fried rice were also delicious. The owner was very kind and delivered the food on the day of the party. I will definitely use them for future events and will also be visiting the restaurant on weekends to dine in.

This is hands down the BEST Trinidadian restaurant in the area! Food is authentic and flavorful, prices are reasonable, portions are generous and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Very chill vibe, always clean and well kept with lots of seating. Good variety of food, great vegetarian options and everything is always fresh.I highly recommend the doubles and their corn soup. Their corn soup is some of the best I've ever had, not just in NYC! Bursting with flavors, all the vegetables and dumplings have the perfect mix of textures and just enough pepper to give it a nice kick! Doubles are the second best I've had in NYC (my #1 spot is a trek so I'll happily settle for these). Pumpkin, channa, curry mango are all fantastic and their roti is always soft and fresh. The ladies are super sweet and also offer great recommendations and I've never felt rushed. If you see fresh mango chow at the register BUY IT, you won't regret it. They also carry lots of other trini snacks and soft drinks! Must visit if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! I recommend their doubles, corn soup, and roti with pumpkin, channa, potato and curry mango.

I was googling a place near by that sold corn soup as I had a itching for some so bad. I came across this place and decided to give them a try based on the raving reviews. I’m new to Queens and not too familiar with the area. However this place did not disappoint. I love how they’re making the chicken right out front on the grill, you come inside the place was welcoming and clean. Music playing and setting the island vibe. The staff were even cleaning when I came in to order and were very nice and friendly. I ordered 2 large corn soup and 2 doubles with everything. When I tell you the food was so good! I was doing a little dance lol! Doubles were flavorful and fresh. The corn soup was delicious and I could say the best I’ve had thus far. There was ample parking right in front as well. I will surely frequent this place

Family friendly, clean and worth a trip in from NJ! Our niece visiting from Minnesota salivated enjoying what she doesn't get there, and yes, she bought Roti to take back with her!
