I highly recommend trying their buss up shot, as many places tend to make it overly oily and flat. I am deducting one star because I have had issues with the pholourie not being in stock and food not being delivered to food delivery services like UberEats and Grubhub in a timely manner. However, this does not detract from the quality of the food.

I usually avoid going to Liberty for good doubles because of the traffic and parking, but I love this location as I can always find nearby parking. The doubles here are better than the ones in Liberty in my opinion. The bara is soft and holds the curry channa well, and the accompaniments help balance the flavors. I do wish there was more pepper sauce on the doubles, even though I asked for extra. At $1.50 each, the doubles are a great deal. The mango curry I tried was also fantastic. I appreciate that all the meat is halal. I will definitely be returning for a quick, cheap, and tasty bite. I recommend calling in your order to avoid waiting in line. They also offer a variety of Trini/Guyanese snacks and a fantastic drink selection. Don't forget to check out their pastry and bread selection as well. Give them a try!

I s... read more The food here is soooo good, and the service is outstanding!!! I needed some authentic Trinidad food for my Bridal shower and found D Roti Hut on Instagram. I spoke with Mike who was able to help me place my order for pick up the day of the shower. My husband and I went to pick up the food, and I couldn't leave without having some of their doubles with everything and slight peppa, which was on point...amazing flavor ???my husband is from Trini and said it was the best doubles he's had in New York thus far! We served the food from D Roti Hut at the shower, and it did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed the pumpkin, Channa aloo, and fried ochro. Thank you to the team at D Roti Hut. We're definitely coming by again ?

I came across this place and decided to give them a try based on the raving reviews. I’m new to Queens and not too familiar with the area. However this place did not disappoint. I love how they’re making the chicken right out front on the grill, you come inside the place was welcoming and clean. Music playing and setting the island vibe. The staff were even cleaning when I came in to order and were very nice and friendly. I ordered 2 large corn soup and 2 doubles with everything. When I tell you the food was so good! I was doing a little dance lol! Doubles were flavorful and fresh. The corn soup was delicious and I could say the best I’ve had thus far. There was ample parking right in front as well. I will surely frequent this place
