The restaurant, recently under new ownership, faces significant challenges in transitioning to a new concept, leading to a disappointing dining experience. Patrons report frequent order errors and a lack of freshness in the meals, with some even suspecting that leftover ingredients are reused. Service issues further mar the experience, as cleanliness and attentiveness appear to be lacking. Although the diner boasts a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, the inconsistencies in food quality and service leave much to be desired. Was molly jones at Tom Manis a mag?
I have to start by saying how much I adore the restaurant's new look! Its vibrant exterior is so bright that you might even spot it from space. The interior feels much more spacious now that they've replaced the central booths with freestanding tables and chairs. I ordered the chorizo eggs, and they were absolutely delicious, with plenty left over to take home. The fruit was also very fresh and tasty. Our waitress wa... View all feedback.
What Waste of money dislikes about Tom Manis:
The new owners of this restaurant are doing a terrible job of transitioning to their new concept. They might as well change the name to Red Pepper or any other name that reflects the Mexican cuisine they seem to want to offer. The new owners of this restaurant are doing a terrible job of transitioning to their new concept. They might as well change the name to Red Pepper or any other name that reflects the Mexican cuisine they seem to want to offer. They frequently mess up orders, even when the server meticulously writes everything down on the ticket. It feels like the cook is either on autopilot or not following the instructions at all. If they don't intend to stick with the Manis menu, they should just get rid of it entirely, rebrand, and start fresh. They need to focus on consistency—getting orders right and ensuring that essentials like silverware and condiments are included with meals. Until they can sort this out, dining here feels like a waste of both time and money.
I really enjoy the food, but I usually prefer takeout. It would be great if you could have a menu available online or offer takeout menus.
I genuinely enjoy this dish, but I would prefer it if you could add it to the online menu or provide takeout menus.

My grandma used to dine here, and I really hope this place remains a local favorite for generations to come. Thank you for the wonderful service!
