What Waste of money dislikes about Tom Manis:
The new owners of this restaurant are doing a terrible job of transitioning to their new concept. They might as well change the name to Red Pepper or any other name that reflects the Mexican cuisine they seem to want to offer. They frequently mess up orders, even when the server meticulously writes everything down on the ticket. It feels like the cook is either on autopilot or not following the instructions at all. I... I have to start by saying how much I adore the restaurant's new look! Its vibrant exterior is so bright that you might even spot it from space. The interior feels much more spacious now that they've replaced the central booths with freestanding tables and chairs. I ordered the chorizo eggs, and they were absolutely delicious, with plenty left over to take home. The fruit was also very fresh and tasty. Our waitress was truly talented and attentive. My grandma used to dine here, and I really hope this place remains a local favorite for generations to come. Thank you for the wonderful service!
You don't have a long wait for takeout and I really enjoyed taco
Got 3 different meals and it wasn't fresh at all . Sorry, Mike. And overheard staff talking about the nacho plate using chips from the day before, maybe he won't notice. Jumbo had a hard flour shell. NEVER had that before, just how does a flour shell get too hard to even cut with a knife? The 3rd dish wasn't any better. Sorry but not returning to this particular location.
Wish this was still open but it's closed now for good. Sad
Ice little place. I think it's a good place for a quick meal. I think they need work on their Taco Tuesday though. Though good they are trying to cash in on a standing tradition started in this area from the restaurant on 24th. Parking: Restaurant's size is small but has a large parking lot

They frequently mess up orders, even when the server meticulously writes everything down on the ticket. It feels like the cook is either on autopilot or not following the instructions at all. If they don't intend to stick with the Manis menu, they should just get rid of it entirely, rebrand, and start fresh. They need to focus on consistency—getting orders right and ensuring that essentials like silverware and condiments are included with meals. Until they can sort this out, dining here feels like a waste of both time and money.
I really enjoy the food, but I usually prefer takeout. It would be great if you could have a menu available online or offer takeout menus.
