I have always enjoyed the wonderfully prepared meals at this restaurant. I particularly love their spicy dishes, which can be quite intense! The only downside is that there can be a bit of a wait, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. If you visit, make sure to try the Thai iced tea. View all feedback.
What Nelson Castro dislikes about Bangkok Star:
worse service and eat that I have ever experienced at a Thai food place. I called the hour before she closed and let me sit in the handle on the counter for 30 minutes. about 10 minutes in them I drive there. then she tells me we're closed until we have closed the time. So I kindly told her I called and still stopped. she was shocked and apologised. So she showed me to give up my order. I order 45 minutes after my or... View all feedback.
I was on this place a fair amount of time to eat and take several paints out and had up and down. the inner is very small, but clean and has a nice feeling for it. a little quiet and makes it uncomfortable, wished there were music playing, but maybe they just didn't open it when I left. the server was beautiful and the tables and everything was good. the takeout system is okay. it is a waiting type of takeout. I know they're struggling to get workers and stuff. So I won't kill her for it. in the rule it can be eaten even 30 minutes after they pick it up and go home or wherever. However, I had a few times where the food was really watery, or dry and hard, and that was only 10 minutes after the pick-up and the opening home. so sometimes it was hit or miss, but 75 percent of the time it is good. eating itself, if right is amazing, not very sharp, even with the spicy option, but still has good taste. all in all a very good place and I recommend it, I hope they can fix some of the last hiccups with workers.

I order 45 minutes after my original call. 25 minutes for cooking. then when I got that. it was terrible, dry, and not even what I ordered! I will never give my business back to this place!
Drove here from richmond with a taste for some tai food said to be open for normal business hours for the day. arrived there and a note was on the door to come on in but be patient because were short on staff . soon as i walked in all the chairs were upside down on the tables with employees sitting at a table . i asked the owner if he was open in which he said carry out only . then advertise carry out only. i have came to this place for a very long time he could have pulled out a chair and said what would you like. very bad thinking as a business owner. wont be back

I was in town for work for a few days and decided to treat my family to a nice Thai dinner at Bangkok Star. What a mistake! We waited 50 minutes for the first dish out of four, and it was the only one that was decent. The other two dishes were cold, and the final plate took 65 minutes to be served. Two of the dishes were overly breaded and sauced. The Jasmine tea was warm instead of hot. This is the worst Asian restaurant I have ever been to. It even took 40 minutes to get a simple glass of ice water. They only had one server working, who was very slow. I spent $73 and I will not be returning.
