The food was amazing and all arrived at the same time, staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and everyone enjoyed their meal. We were pleased to find out that Thursday free desert with every main meal

We had such a warm welcome fro... read more A wonderful place, in beautiful surroundings. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant as well as breakfast, both were delicious. We had such a warm welcome from all staff and our room was super clean and fresh. Definitely recommend and we'll certainly be back when next in the area. Absolutely loved it.

Nice busy pub ,good atmosphere, booked a table for 6.30 pm but did not get our food for a hour ,was offered a free drink for the delay .staff who served our tab... read more Nice busy pub ,good atmosphere, booked a table for 6.30 pm but did not get our food for a hour ,was offered a free drink for the delay .staff who served our table were great once the food came 2 meals were good but the cheese and onion pie was awful ,the garlic mushrooms were delicious but would be better served with nice granary bread instead of white bread ,the black pudding stack was delicious.

Jamie and his team are amazing, great hospitality and such a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and are really well furnished with everything you need. The public bar has great beer and staff. I can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks to all who made us welcome and made our stay so pleasant. Noteworthy details: Highly recommended.
