What Chris likes about Yangtze:
One of the original traditional Chinese restaurants in Ottawa and an icon for good food. The portions and prices have wavered over the years and its sad to see the dolly trays and some of the unique dishes like taro duck go away. Though I'm hoping they return ?. Service is always dependable and attentive which is rare and you can tell the workers enjoy themselves enough as some have worked there since I was a child.T... View all feedback. Coming from toronto and experiencing this restaurant based on reviews and location....disappointing to say the least. Claypot dishes came lukewarm at best, our steamed fish dish was expensive filet fish, it was overcooked and underwhelming. The only saving grace was its steamed hainanese chicken... even the lobster was overcooked with little ginger onion flavour. For such an expensive dinner it was sad at best. At le...
