But Meat Press deserves crowds an... read more I hate to post this review, because I don’t want to attract more people to vie for my seat at one of my favourite restaurants. But Meat Press deserves crowds and prosperity. It serves fabulous smoked duck, excellent aged steak, and the best smoked meat...I have ever eaten—and I eat it everywhere. Terrific fries, and a Brussels sprout Caesar salad that is a revelation. The kitchen is small, and when there’s a crowd for lunch, service can be slow. But the competition for a table and wait for your food is eminently worth it. There is a fine selection of wines, beers, and pops Altogether a great place to eat.

Lots of meaty sandwich options that are large, messy, and filling. Recommend if you...are really hungry to get a side dish (I had the fries, no regrets). Love that they are also licensed and serve local beer and wine options, as well as non-alcoholic drinks.

Just exactly what a neighbourhood 'restaurant ' should be. Great friendly service, awesome food, presentation...everything. we had three of their sandwiches....smoked beef was perfect! Friend shrimp was amazing! Ham and cheese was ok but nothing special. Will be back and will be bringing friends. Already been raving about it to whoever will listen.

You will not be let do... read more My experience at this restaurant tonight was amazing. The food exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend trying this place for dinner. You will not be let down. We started with bison tartare and pan-fried foie gras as appetizers, followed by lamb loin with vegetables and duck with Dauphinoise potatoes as main courses. Every dish was exceptional. Bravo to the chef!
