Showed up a the peak of the lunch rush. There were 3 fire trucks parked out front, so I suspected there might have been a fire. Wrong. All those firefighters were grabbing lunch here! Despite the lineup to the back of the deli, my order was promptly taken and prepared. In and out in under 5 minutes. $7 cash for any sandwich! As I finished mine, an ambulance pulled up. for lunch! I have allergies to dairy- I sent a group order in asking for no cheese, and the spiciest sandwich with regular mustard they had (I was the only one with restrictions) -what I received was a ham sandwich with slices of cheese...and mayo. Amazing sandwiches. Very generous portions of toppings and they always use fresh and delicious ingredients. The bread is incredible: nice and crispy on the outside, and fluffy and moist on the inside.
The amazing sandwiches are well worth their very affordable price. I highly recommend this place! Cash only last I was there, they do help out a bit with an ATM in the back. Love the meats and veggies they use in their sandwiches. :
The best quality for the best price on a sandwich or pasta. You need it quick and tasty, you have to go to Di Rienzo. I had pasta and sandwiches, I was never disappointed. I also loved the staff and their friendly service. They will go out of their way to accommodate.
Awesome spot for a delicious sandwich! The portions are quite generous for what you pay for. The staff is prompt and friendly! Highly recommend!
This place is a gem in the city of Ottawa. My boyfriend happened to find it and we decided to check it out on our way home. We were not disappointed, the sandwiches were fresh and delicious, and the tortellini was pasta that I would expect to come out of a nonnas kitchen. AND last but not least don't make the mistake of missing out on the the cannoli's. It was the best cannoli I have ever had. Overall a delicious adventure.
