What User likes about Cat's Fish & Chips:
We've been here a few times for fish and chips, it's our go to place in Ottawa when we can't make it to our favourite place in Chelsea. The service is always pleasant and accurate and the food is great. Serving portions are good, the fish is fresh and properly cooked, I can't find fault. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Cat's Fish & Chips:
This was our first time here. It's a very casual spot. Service was ok although our waitress never dropped by to ask how things were. We all ordered the haddock fish platters. The fish was a little too crispy and greasy for our liking and my mother's mashed potatoes were very dry. The fries were good and the fish portion size great. We will stick to our favorite fish and chip restaurant- The Pelican Fishery on Bank St... View all feedback.

read moreCats Fish and Chips in Ottawa is a casual spot that consistently delivers great food. Despite minor issues like dry mashed potatoes and slightly crispy fish, the overall experience is enjoyable. Fresh fish, good portion sizes, and friendly service at reasonable prices make this a go-to spot for many diners. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, from fish platters to crab cakes and more. The cozy atmosphere and great music add to the overall dining experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Cats Fish and Chips is definitely worth a visit for some of the best fish and chips in Ottawa.
Excellent staff, food and atmosphere. A Family of New Brunswick fishermen know their fish and this was excellent. I recommend the haddock in beer batter.
